My name is Anja Marie Bornø Jensen. I am a social anthropologist with a particular interest in organ donation and donor families.

Given my Thesis, I have had discussion papers published in the leading Medical Journal in Denmark (Ugeskrift for Læger) and I work as speaker and educator at universities, hospitals and transplantation meetings all over Denmark.

During the Summer, I have worked at the Danish Cancer Society on a cultural analysis on Danish comsumers and their relationship to bread and whole grains.

Starting January 2008, I have got a Ph.d. scholarship at the University of Copenhagen, Department of Anthropology, exploring Danish donor families and organ donation in Denmark.
